About 揺らぎ
Yuragi (揺らぎ meaning: fluctuations) is a shoegaze / dream pop band from Kansai, Japan. They are signed to FLAKE SOUNDS. Vo/Gt/Piano - miraco Gt/Synth - Kntr Ba/Cho - Uji Dr/Samplar - Yusei Formed in 2015 by miraco and Yusei, they self-released their first single "bedside" in March 2016, and their first EP "nightlife EP" in December of the same year. In August 2018, they released the nationwide EP "Still Dreaming, Still Deafening" through FLAKE SOUNDS. Under the direction of video director Pennacky, they released the music video for "Unreachable" from the album. In February 2019, they hosted the independent event "Wearing The Inside Out" with Hitsuji Bungaku and No Buses. In July of the same year, they appeared at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'19 ROOKIE A GO-GO. In December of the same year, he self-released his first remix album, Still Dreaming, Still Deafening Remixes & Rarities. The five remixers who participated were 9:en, Kntr, singular balance, Big Animal Theory, and Kogane from Canada, who is signed to Ryan Hemsworth's label "Secret Songs." In June 2021, the first full album "For you, Adroit it but soft" was released by FLAKE SOUNDS. Along with the release, Yuragi held her first solo live performance at Shibuya WWW, Nagoya stiffslack, and Shinsaibashi JANUS. All performances were sold out. *The Shinsaibashi JANUS performance was an appearance at FLAKE RECORDS 15th Anniversary Event (a two-man live performance with oon). In October of the same year, they distributed the paradata for "For you, Adroit it but soft" for free and called for remixes and other arrangements. In January 2022, he self-released the remix album "For you, Adroit it but soft: Remixes & Rarities" with 10 remixers from Japan and abroad, including Slow Magic and Ryan Hemsworth. Mastering was done by Masafumi Goto of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION. In April 2023, the band will release their second full album, "Here I Stand", through FLAKE SOUNDS. To coincide with the release, the band held solo live release events at WWW in Shibuya, CLUB UPSET in Nagoya, JANUS in Shinsaibashi, and The Wall in Taipei, Taiwan. They also performed in South Korea in July 2024, which was sold out. They have previously performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '19 ROOKIE A GO-GO and have been guest acts for many international artists, including Japanese Breakfast, Turnover, Nothing, Superheaven, and I Mean Us, and are expected to continue to be active both domestically and internationally.
