一ノ宮頼子 (Yoriko Ichinomiya) is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, dancer, model and football player born in Yokohama, Japan, whose often sad, slow-paced, dark-themed songs could be described as contemporary folk with some jazz and chamber music influence. Yoriko's lyrics are either whispered or sung in a nonchalant, dreamy way. The minimal arrangements create an intimate atmosphere which is sometimes reminiscent of ambient music.
