ヤプーズ (Yapoos) is an experimental post-punk / synthpop band from Japan, formed by 戸川純 (Jun Togawa) in 1984. Influenced by the ero guro movement, their lyrics deal with disturbing themes like murder, rape, stolen virginity and field of flowers. The band's name is derived from the novel Kachikujin Yapū (Human Cattle Yapoo) by Shozo Numa.
