About シュラ
There are two japanese bands called シュラ according to grass thread 1) Correct tag: Shulla: visual band formed by Kaito and Sae. 2) Correct tag: Shula: another visual band. Members are: MAO (vo), U-ZI (gt), SHINSUKE (ba) and yuya (dr). 1) Shulla was formed in January 2001, by Kaito and Sae (both ex. Vaniza and Clair de Lune). They eventually met Nagi (ex. Ludia le Moise), Ren, and Yuuichi. They started out by coming out with a demo tape on February 7, which was given out as thanks for the great turnout in the event that spearheaded their beginning. They later on participated in another event on June 19... The first stunning event was that the release of their first maxi single, titled Nihiko, very quickly sold out. It was followed up a little afterward with a second press release on September 21, which also sold out as expected. On the same day as this second press release, Shulla took this opportunity to release their second maxi single, titled Itazura. Once more, it quickly sold out, and when they released its second press on November 11, once again it similarly sold out. On September 22, 2001, Shulla toured in two man live with the band Ash until October 10, the date of the tour final. In the year 2002, they kicked off with different events, but the most remarkable was their new year kickoff release yukuefumei; this first mini-album was limited to 2000 copies. Because it sold out so quickly, the second press was released on April 1. Shulla grew more popular, expanding their activities into many different venues. On July 12, Shulla launched their summer tour of 16 dates and ended on September 9. On July 24, their on-tour maxi single furare hanabi was released. It came with one video and was limited to 3000 copies. At this point, on January 6, 2003, the band sold a demo tape titled kimikara hajimaru A no uta, which sold at a live and was limited to 500 copies. Then Shulla followed up with the release of Shura, their second mini-album that quickly sold out. Its second press was released on June 25. Later on, the group went on tour from March 12 until May 11 with a loaded schedule so that Shulla would be noticed. After that year, the group took part that time in stylish wave'03, during which they played with a number of other groups. On August 28 was their fourth maxi single release, Kanashibari Tengoku. On September 21, Shulla took part in a compilation omnibus SHOCK JAM CD Edition.1. During the month of September, the band went on another tour. On November 12, the single ENJYOU REKKA was released, limited to only 5000 copies. Following this release, their stage performances soared through a variety of lives and events of all kinds. In the year 2004, Shulla was involved in Cannonball Vol.1 and are on this CD omnibus with groups such as Doremidan, Unzu, Sendai Kamotsu... On February 4 was their maxi single release KARYU KUURO, which ranked 20th and then 9th on the top Indies Oricon. On March 15, the band held a two man live with none other than Scissor. Shulla's next two albums were 'best-of' album releases, CHABANGEKI SONO ICHI on April 21, and CHABANGEKI SONO NI on April 28--they are very highly recommended. In June, Shulla became major in signing with Nippon Crown. With that, they released their first major maxi single, shirokuro no sekai, in July. Its two versions were released simultaneously. On September 29, they released another maxi single, Chibi, with two versions. On April 1, 2005, they released their maxi single Prism. Before the end of the year, Shulla suddenly announced disbandment, releasing one maxi single and three albums in October and November of 2005. Their final concert was on November 21, 2005--a concert DVD The Grand Finale was released on January 11, 2006.
