Смерть is an underground Latvian band widely recognized as the pioneers of d-beat in Latvia. Hailing from Kuldīga, they specialize in a raw, aggressive blend of crust punk, sludge metal, and old-school death metal. The group was originally formed in 2017 under the name Woodoom. In their early years, they focused more on stoner and sludge sounds. They have performed in 12 countries and are known for their frequent appearances at Baltic extreme music festivals such as Munky Pride and Zilonis Fest. Current members: Dāvis Avotiņš (Pidari, Inokentijs Mārpls) - bass, vocals; Reinis Švagris (Priestrot) - guitars; Roberts Stieģelis (Zvjozdočka) - guitars; Rūdolfs Akermanis (Priestrot, Pilskalns) - drums, backing vocals. https://linktr.ee/smert_band
