About Новый Год
Новый Год (Novi Got, meaning "The New Year" in russian) is a rock band from Finland. Started in Tampere around 2003 as a two-man home recording project, then moved to Helsinki area in 2004 and continued as a seven-piece band since about 2005. Band members came and went and as of 2011 the band continues to play as a trio. So far Новый Год recorded two studio demo EPs and a lot of home recordings. Almost all of the bands lyrics are sung in russian, probably because most members are of russian origin.
