About Χαοτικό Τέλος
Χαοτικό Τέλος (Haotiko Telos, translation: Chaotic End) is a hardcore punk band from Athens, Greece, formed in 1989. Χαοτικό Τέλος sounds like a mixture of raw aggressive punk, thrash metal and a twist of dark ambience. One of the fewest bands to count for their era to have such a special sound result. In the 1990 they released a D.I.Y.demo cassette called Πόλεμος Του Μίσους (Polemos tu Misus, translation: War of Hate) in Greece and abroad. A year later there was a second cassette release by the name Πίσω Από Τα Τείχη Της Σιωπής (Piso apo ta tihi tis siopis, translation: Behind the Walls of Silence). After participating in some foreign D.I.Y. compilations, they recorded their debut album and last release ever, entitled Μπροστά Στην Παράνοια (Brosta stin Parania, translation: In Front of Paranoia) in 1993. The vocalist of the Χαοτικό Τέλος, Alekos Sismanidis was at the same time vocalist of the band Ξεχασμένη Προφητεία. It's not officially known when this band was split, but it's calculated to be in 1996, around the formation of Χειμερία Νάρκη which was the new band of Alekos, leaving behind Χαοτικό Τέλος and Ξεχασμένη Προφητεία.
