About Ô Paradis

Ô Paradis is an industrial folk project from Barcelona, led by Demian Recio, who used to play bass for the band Los Sencillos. The project began in the 90s as a collaboration with Rosa Solé from Circe. Since then, Demian's project has evolved, accompanied by bands like Allerseelen and Nový Svět. The characteristic sound includes repetitive yet inspiring sounds and a melodic, poetic, dark voice which reveals Demian's personal world. Demian's most recent work is a collaboration with American underground musician, author, and film director Thomas Nola (et Son Orchestre). Under the name Les Paradisiers, the duo released an album entitled More Tales From The Garden in May of 2009 on Nola’s own Disques de Lapin label. www.myspace.com/oparadis
