About saleontomorrow
saleontomorrow (2004-2006) were a post-rock four-piece band from Norwich. Their distinctive, progressive sound, call-and-response guitar lines and thoughtful lyricism won them fans on their home city's music scene and further afield. This led to - after putting out a self-titled EP in 2005 - the release of a split EP in 2006 with fellow Norwich four-piece Brailing. When bassist David Thorpe (1982-2006) was killed in a motorcycle accident, the remaining three members of the band decided to go on hiatus. "We know there has been talks about the future of the band," wrote vocalist Henry Tremain on their website, "but we are all feeling very lost at the moment [. . .] to be honest it's not even slightly important right now." Henry (as 'Hank') went on to form new band, Pennines in late 2007 and is now singer of This Town Needs Guns. Alan (Hiom, guitarist) is now frontman of Indie-Punk band Darwin & The Dinosaur
