However, the female schoolmate left the band upon graduating junior high school, leaving Enuma as the main vocalist. The band gets their name from a parfait shop in Choushi, Chiba. In 2008, the band relocated to Tokyo where drummer Yoshioka's parents' home became their main practice spot. In August, the band began performing in live houses and made their first public appearance at rockin'on inc's "Countdown Japan 08/09". They also released a copy demo cd limited to 1000 copies called "Koukai". In May 2009 they had their first one-man live at Kichijoji WARP. plenty debuted their first album "Haikei. Minasama" in October 2009 and held their first nationwide tour in January 2010. Their one-man live on 2009/10/24 sold out. In April 2010 they released their second album "Risouteki na boku no sekai". On July 30, 2011 the band's drummer, Yoshioka, announced his withdrawal from Plenty. On August 4th, 2014 Nakamura (ex. the cabs) joined the band as an official drummer. On April 13th 2017 they announced that they would disband in September 2017 after a last tour. After disbanding, Itta Nakamura moved to Berlin and was active as a drummer in several projects (Itta Nakamura & João Clemente, Novatron, Street Fight(Profound Whatever), Bending Bodies, USTED,...). He moved back to Japan in 2025 and it was announced that the cabs, his former band, will reunite. Their comeback tour sold out. It was unknown what Noriaki Nitta was up to. Fumiya Enuma started a solo career under his real name (江沼郁弥). He's currently also the vocalist & guitarist of DOGADOGA (together with members of andymori etc.). At his solo concerts, he often covered songs by plenty. Especially on his tour in 2025 and 2026 where he was also joined by drummer Kenta Furuichi (also from DOGADOGA). After releasing a digital live album of their last live in 2017, they also announced two remastered best ofs with 32 tracks (vinyl/digital) for January 21st ("outside") and March 18th ("inside") celebrating their 15th anniversary. The first best of "outside" came with a link to a special homepage containing a countdown to March 3rd 2026 and a mysterious code. On March 3rd 2026 plenty announced that they would "re:birth" and have a reunion announcing their first gig in 9 years at Shibuya LINE CUBE on July 7th 2026. They also announced that Itta Nakamura was not interested in a reunion even though moving back to Japan (considering his activities in the cabs who also reunited before). They published a message by Fumiya Enuma which said that Itta Nakamura watched one of his solo concerts. They announced that Kenta Furuichi, who was the drummer for Fumiya Enuma's recent solo tour and is also a member of his band DOGADOGA would join them on drums. ------------------------------------------------------- Other bands called "plenty": 2.
