About Yurei
Three artists share the name Yurei: 1) Yurei is a solo project of Norwegian avant-garde musician Bjeima. He is currently involved in many different musical projects, including: Virus, Alfa Obscura, -M-, The Konsortium, The Ghost Conspiracy, Delirium Bound and Swarms, most of them in collaboration with Norwegian label Adversum. Yurei's debut album Working Class Demon was released via Adversum in 2010. In 2012 he released Night Vision, his second album. 2) Yurei is an electronic musician based in Hamburg Germany. 3) Yurei is the solo project of Brazilian progressive metal musician Gabriel Silva Castro, based in Canada. Gabriel is best known for his band, Johari. The band's current lineup features: Gabriel Silva Castro (Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Producer/Composer), Evan Sammons (Drums), Katie Thompson (Vocals). Evan Is also known for his band Last Chance To Reason, and Katie for her guest work for the technical death metal band Fallujah. Yurei has released the following: Yurei (Self-Titled EP), Saudade & Our Dreams Were All For Everything. Yurei has collaborated with many artists to date such as Scott Carstairs, Poh Hock, Jamie King, Adam Bentley and more.
