About Wnętrza
WNETRZA (“The Interiors”) are the instrumental quartet based in Krakow, Poland, which started in 2007. At the beginning the band played as a trio. In 2009 basic line-up expanded, firstly with saxophonist Jedrzej Lagodzinski, and, after his departure – trumpeter Ernest Heksel. The roots of the band’s sound lie in postrock, psychedelics and 90’s Tricity “yass” movement, also clearly referring to jazz and fusion. Long, trancy and atmospheric compositions are full of suprising twist and turns, at the same time showing much freedom and lightness. Band co-works with VJ’s, adding visual dimension to it’s live shows. Wnetrza had a pleasure of sharing the stage with such bands as Constants (US), Rupasoff (HUN) and Tides From Nebula (PL). In 2008 the band, still as a trio, released debut LP, entitled “Treble”.
