About Violet Sequence
The band's journey begins in Athens, Greece in 2004 when two friends, Christos Komis (guitars, vocals) and Stamos Sarris (bass) create a web page from which they share their music on the internet. After a couple of years, Spyros Bredanos (drums) and Constantine Seleznioff (keyboards) join in. Beginning mid 2006, the 4-member band starts making its first steps on live stages of Greece. From a point of view, the band's name can be seen as the coupling of red and blue during the early morning and evening hours. In that sense, Violet Sequence reflects the swing of life between those two attracting opposites. Yet, there is much more. "Music is a way for us to physically hear and experience the essence of God itself. We ourselves are ultimately composed of living, dancing musical waveforms; God's creation. Without music in our lives, we deny ourselves the very inner knowledge and enjoyment of our own existence."
