About Tyranny of Shaw
Tyranny Of Shaw was a chaotic hardcore band based in Miami, FL. Known for their vicious guitar technique and mind bending technicality fused with lashing melody and furious drumming. While they released a slew of now obscure and virtually extinct, but fantastic songs in their early days, they unleashed their true madness on Robotic Empires MUTATION comp with two jaw droppingly intense songs: 'Grendel' & 'Lost In Arcadia'. Unfortunately, their only available release was an epic 4 track EP entitled Stars In Camouflage, which in it's own right spoke new volumes to where hardcore was headed, and where it should be. Their final release would be a short but memorable one. 2 songs with fellow hardcore band Phoenix Bodies, A 7" split. They broke up sometime in 2004. Members of Tyranny of shaw went on to spawn several other bands, including Torche, Capsule, Maruta, Shitstorm, Monarcs, Mehkahgo N.T. and many more.
