Instrumental Rock from Cleveland, Ohio... It all started on that fateful evening in November 2004 in Cleveland, Ohio. The fate of the nation was in their hands, and boy was it a letdown. Originally titled: To Be a High Powered Executive You Need To Be Good At Math, the five Cleveland Institute of Art graduates began as a simple post-rock band. After a four-month hiatus, they reformed as To be a High Powered Executive… an instrumental rock band that found a dream and captured it in its slovenly jowls. Their sound has expanded to include songs ranging from three-minute math-pop blasts to ten minute-plus space operas. Psychedelic games of “find the magical tree-giver without losing the melody” led the five-piece to their debut LP "We Don’t Want It Safe, We Want It Secret." Their journey continues, but their strength requires the gentle ears of a listener. Come join them…
