About Threequartersmile
Threequartersmile are a rock band from Southampton, UK. The band's current incarnation has been together for about eighteen months or so, with previous lineups stretching back to 2001, band members Ben, Ash, Paddy, and Rob write heartfelt, melodic tunes, ranging from punchy pop-rock to downright epic sweeping guitar storms. In Late 2009 the boys released the "Armour" EP, as an entirely self produced effort. It is available online for free and also at gigs, though you might have to ask for one quite early - the last time they played in Winchester, every single copy of the EP was snapped up once they'd come off stage. Threequartersmile has had a rocky few years, with allsorts going on behind the scenes for each member of the band, but the experience of writing and recording the Armour EP, and then gigging it around anywhere and everywhere possible, has cemented the four members in place. The boys are currently writing a full album, going by the name of "Years".
