The Volvox Collective encompasses a number of bands that were originally centered around Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, CA. Most of the bands are now defunct, but a few key members of the collective now operate as Orchestral Colour Records. The VC released one album, Images of an Aquatic World.
