About The Silly Willys

Grantham, United Kingdom (2006-Present) The Silly Willys are a shit-pop duo starring Daniel Coy and Will Coy. They rose from the ashes of G-Town's 'We're British but putting on American accents and writing generic pop-punk for pussies' scene, and originally consisted of four mostly uninterested and uncommitted members. This foursome took to recording songs live into an unbranded MP3 player's built-in microphone in a damp abandoned flat - they sounded fantastic. The so-called "Shit Hole Sessions" provided four songs which were later re-recorded for The Silly Willys' debut album 'You Won't Wake Up' (2009). Two of the members left at some point - fuck knows. Silly Willys' first sweet taste of success came with their underground smash-hit single 'Dalton's Out' which detailed kicking Dalton out of a previous band. The decision was made using a polling system on MySpace using the question "Should we kick Dalton out the band?" - the rest is history. A follow-up album accurately entitled 'Nobody Will Download This' was supposed to come out in 2010 but has continuously been delayed due to wildly fluctuating levels of interest of both members.
