About The Grade Grubbers

The Grade Grubbers was a twee pop band from Buffalo, NY that were around from 2004 to 2007. The Grade Grubbers featured Eric Ellman (The Failures' Union, They Live) on guitar and vocals; Michelle Matthews on keyboards, melodica and vocals; Matt Winnicki on bass; and Artie Vallone on drums. They released a full-length CD on the now defunct Yellow Mica Records out of Sweden and a 7" split EP on Popsickle/Deathsickle records with Japanese grindcore band Unholy Grave.
