About The Future Is Me

The Future Is Me was a progressive post-hardcore band from Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Since their 2010 debut, The Future Is Me have aimed to splash some color on the expanding gray area between modern rock genres. Like Emery meets Every Time I Die with a progressive edge, The Future Is Me combine big riffs, driving rhythms and theatrical vocals that range from crooning to screaming. At times verging on technical, their focus remains on solid songwriting, and they deliver it with a sense of urgency. The Future Is Me continue to carve out place for themselves as one of the more unique up and coming bands in the Southeast. Their second release, Wreck and Salvage, came out August 24th, 2012. The band called it quits in 2013. Members: Paul Kelley - Vocals John Thomasevich - Guitar/Vocals Mike O'Donnell - Guitar (Only on the first release) Colton McCauley - Bass (Only on the second release) Sven Krupp - Bass (Only on the first release) Matt Szalecki - Drums
