Formed in late 2009, they have released three albums (2011's Verse Chorus Curse, 2013's Listen Close, and 2021's Hiatus) and several singles and EPs, including 2014's Bleak & Hollow and 2024's I Hate Us. They have been called “Ornery and catchy” (Hampshire Life), “Bombastic fun” (Comic Rawk), “Rock served raw" (The Deli), “…straight-ahead Husker Du-esque rockers.” (Valley Advocate), and “They can raise speedy hell.” (Daily Hampshire Gazette) 2) The Demographic are an Indie Rock band hailing from Inverness, Scotland. The band initially formed in high school in 2021 as a trio consisting of William Scully on vocals, Malachy Mackintosh on lead guitar and Callum Wilson on rhythm guitar. Rory Brown and Vincent Peteranna were later recruited on bass and drums respectively in order to perform at their school's christmas concert. Following their first public show at Nairn's Bandstand Bar, they released two demo tracks throughout 2023. In March 2024, the band announced their debut EP, citing Iain Mclaughlin as it's producer. The Change was released on April 5th, 2024, with supporting touring across the UK. The band relocated to Glasgow around 2025, releasing I Feel Fine on January 18th.
