Thames is a Dutch post-punk band based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Fronted by singer and guitarist, Melvyn Baartman, their first brace of singles ('Tea' and 'Burn', 2023) has drawn comparisons to bands such as Fontaines D.C., IDLES and The Cure. The band's début EP, Lessons for the Patriarchy, came out in March 2024.
