About Tata Agustin de Satã
In the 1970's, someone shocked the Umbanda practitioners: it was Tata Agustin de Satã. Agustin de Satã was a famous Father of Saint back then for declaredly practicing Kiumbanda. He caused great furor with his "giras" at his ''terreiro'', the African-Brazilian Circle of Occult Science, located in the East Zone (Rio de Janeiro). He is still there, running a store that sells religious products. He, perhaps, has provided us with this cult, for we have no knowledge of how this lineage of the Kiumbanda cult started.
