About Tapedag
Keez Groenteman is a Dutch songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist. He is the front man of Lola Kite, played the guitar with Jacco Gardner and the drums in Altin Gün, Eerie Wanda, Skip & Die and - albeit briefly - the legendary Bettie Serveert. He is also a sought after composer of music for theatre productions. Tapedag is Keez' latest project, inspired by the typical (hissing) cassette tapes of instrumentals and muzak played in K-Mart stores in North America in the early 1990s. Inspired by this music, he recorded an album's worth of original music, entitled Plaza Oneindig (2021) through Excelsior Recordings, followed by an EP, Wens de Satelliet, in September 2022.
