About The Pinkees

The Pinkees were a power-pop 5 piece band from Basildon, Essex, UK (most famously, also home to Depeche Mode) active in the early 1980s. Their sound has been compared as a mix of Squeeze and The Beatles. They released one album and four singles across 1982-83 and achieved a UK Top 10 hit with Danger Games. Their album was re-released on CD and streaming sites in January 2022.
