About Sullen Moon
Sullen Moon were formed in Wellington New Zealand in 2003 by Shane Caldwell and Kashmir Jackson who had previously played together in bands in high school, and Iris.p.love as guitarist (from 2005 onwards). previous members were Seth Jackson as drummer, Brooke Shearer as Violinist and Mathew Button as Guitarist. In 2004 they released their debut e.p 'Lost in the park' in 2004. 2005 saw the release of their sophomore e.p 'Pep'. they continued recording and playing live shows but no further releases ever saw the light of day, with only a few new tracks appearing on their myspace page. Shane Caldwell has stated Sullen Moon is probably finished as he and Jackson have a couple of new side-project bands they've been performing with and have become more enjoyable than playing as sullen moon. Caldwell also played as a live guitarist for wellington industrial/glam/trash band Candyscar in 2007
