Strict-9 were a first-wave Louisville punk band that was made up of high school age performers. The band's recorded tracks were released on a 7" vinyl record Rock In The Suburbs by Hit-A-Note Records and then again on the well-received 2007 retrospective Bold Beginnings: An Incomplete Collection of Louisville Punk 1978-83 alongside other Louisville first-wave punk bands.
