Storm and the Balls was originally Storm and the Hellfire Antisocial Club. The group formed in 2002 in Portland, Oregon after Storm Large moved there from San Francisco. Performers are: Storm Large - Vocals Davey Nipples - Bass James Beaton - Keys Brian Parnell - Drums The vocals sometime border on lounge due to Storm's wide and clear range. The material often favors mash-ups of popular rock songs. Storm Large was a contestant on CBS' Rock Star: Supernova television series in 2006 and this may have contributed to heightened awareness of this band. Storm and the Balls are starting to play with a more rocking sound, due to the publicity she has received from Rockstar: Supernova. Storm and the Balls are releasing new Originals on May 1st.
