About Stevens & Mack
Stevens and Mack, the collaboration and duo of Steve Stevens and Seany Mack, was formed in 2001 when their paths crossed and their common love of music was revealed. It was an instant bond of music and friendship that would propel them to unite and set out to conquer the music scene together. And that bond has had them working at it for 5 years while having fun in the process. Stevens and Mack write and produce all their songs. Combining Pop and Rock with melodic hooks, capped off with tight vocal harmonies, they created their sound. The Pop Rock duo from Manchester New Hampshire, has performed for audiences from Manchester to Boston, New York City to Hollywood, making an impact wherever they go. From major clubs like B.B. Kings, to festivals, fairs, featured shows and open mics, the result is always the same…the audience wants more. And the audience they are attracting is of all ages with a variety of tastes in music. Stevens and Mack have the young kids dancing, the teens rockin, and the adults remembering the days of Simon and Garfunkel with their harmonies. In 2004 their production company STEM MUSIC released their debut CD featuring 6 of the songs that had become fan favorites at their live performances. Included is "Home", the first song they wrote and sang together. Ironically this song started out as an experiment for themselves back in 2001, but it would go on to become the title track and the foundation they built upon. The CD was mixed by Rob Pemberton at Sound Station Seven in Providence, Rhode Island. Rob has worked on many projects including the Boston Music Award winning CD "Stay The Same" with producer Joe Carrier. Joe wrote the following to Stevens and Mack after hearing their CD, "Keep up the great work. It's great to see artists really excited about what they’re doing. Your enthusiasm shows in your songs. You definitely have your own sound." Stevens and Mack were featured as a top story on the front page of the Union Leader, New Hampshire’s largest selling newspaper. With a headline of "Perfect Harmony - Manchester's Simon and Garfunkel", they quickly gained attention. Calls for them came and so did the gigs as they performed throughout the state. Stevens and Mack were named Local Artist of the Month by WHOB 106.3 FM. They performed LIVE on WZID 95.7 FM and COOL 96.5 FM including both the 2004 and 2005 WZID 95.7 FM Old Fashioned Christmas Radio Show where they performed their original Christmas song "Little Town Christmas (It's Christmas Time in a New Hampshire Town)". The song gained them their first radio play! They also performed the song on the WMUR-TV ABC 9's New Hampshire Chronicle Christmas Special which also aired in both 2004 and 2005. Stevens and Mack have had great success on the road too making an impact in New York City and Los Angeles. On their first trip to Manhattan they played an open mic at the Orange Bear. As soon as they walked off the stage, they were approached and asked if they were available to play there regularly. And their first visit to Hollywood had the same result. They played the Pig'n Whistle and B.B. Kings and immediately had bookers calling them and asking for more. All of this and Stevens and Mack still found time to get in the studio. They just released their new 2006 CD "Vivo Viv". They hope this CD leads them to getting signed in order to expand their audience even more. "We saw Simon and Garfunkel in Boston on December 13, 2003 and it was a great experience. That was very, very inspiring to us. Hopefully, that will be us someday!" – Stevens and Mack
