About Steven Geller
London based DJ Steven Geller is one the fastest growing DJs recently on the London scene. He made his first mix tape when he was 8 years old using 2 tape players and 'beat boxing' to mix the tracks together! After many years as a mobile party DJ, he began his career on the London scene and quickly got his first residency at ESCAPE in Soho. He was soon spotted and moved on to a new residency in BARCODE VAUXHALL and BARCODE SOHO. Soon after, he was asked to play at many venues including MINISTRY of SOUND, TRADE & DTPM’s NAKED ZOO at EGG, PROFILE, KU CLUB and THE BOX. His big break was being offered residency with London's biggest clubs FIRE & AREA where he played at their many weekly nights including ORANGE, A:M, GRAVITY, LATER, OPEN and the main floor of the legendary BEYOND. He was also resident at the world famous HEAVEN NIGHTCLUB. Where he played every week on the main floor to a capacity 2500 people. The newest addition to his residencies is at UNION (formally CRASH) in Vauxhall where he plays at many weekly nights including BODYSHAKERS, FITLADZ and EPIC. As a club promotor, he created the night ONYX at Super-club AREA, which to this day remains one of the most successful nights on the London gay scene. He also promoted CLUB FUTUREPROOF at THORPE PARK and REHAB at HEAVEN. His new promotions are BODYSHAKERS and EPIC at UNION with a big new Saturday night in the pipeline. He has now started on a career in production, with several remixes already under his belt. In 2009, Steven won ‘BEST NEW DJ’ in the BOYZ Scene Awards. This was voted for by the public and is leading to new doors being opened for Steven and exciting new projects in the future including a new residency at SCALA in Kings Cross and SUNDAY SOCIAL in Manchester. Steven's trademark style is uplifting house with a tough tribal undertone and accessible vocals. A lot of which he has personally remixed to suit his sound. He can often be seen mixing it up on 4 decks.
