About Steve Brockmann
Steve Brockmann, born in 1965 near Hamburg, Germany, has played an active role in Northern Germany's music scene since the early 1980s. Being the creative head of various bands, he has played gigs on many stages between Germany's most popular holiday island Sylt (up in the very North) and the orchards of Lower Saxony. Amongst others, he has played support gigs for such rock legends as Uriah Heep, Moody Marsden Band, and Hawkwind. Steve currently concentrates his musical work on various projects in his personal studio. Steve has listed such diverse influences as Paul Rodgers, Jeff Scott Soto -- Jimmy Page, Jake E. Lee, Ty Tabor, Neil Schon, Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser, Mick Box, Audley Freed, Eric Clapton, Ian Moss, Paul Kossoff -- Manfred Mann, Ken Hensley, Jon Lord -- Beatles, Blue Oyster Cult, Uriah Heep, Deep Purple, Spock's Beard, Iron Maiden, Cold Chisel, Neal Morse, George Harrison, and Neil Finn (just to name a few). Steve's latest project is the rock opera AIRS, written with George Andrade (http://www.myspace.com/andradelyrics) (Massachusetts USA ) and featuring the amazing voice talents of Floor Kraaijvanger from Superfloor (the Netherlands), Gordon Tittsworth from Images of Eden (Pennsylvania USA), Tilman Eckelt from The Grailknights (Germany), Andi Sailer from Schafe Im Elektrozaun (Germany), and performance artist Cornelius Kappabani (Germany).
