Based in Pine Beach, New Jersey, Static Sex was conceived late 2009 during Plesiosaurs' short hiatus. Dana Yurcisin needed an outlet to expand upon his philosophical and existential viewpoints on contemporary society and to share his neo-political perspectives with like-minded intellects everywhere. Just kidding, he wanted to bitch about girls. What materialized was a side project of bedroom-produced faux-shoegaze. His first EP, Strangers, was released early 2010, and his first LP, Bedrooms, is scheduled for an August 2010 release. Tours with Aerosmith and U2 to follow...
