About Starting Teeth
Starting Teeth is a transatlantic collaboration projects born between brains of electronic producers Childe Grangier & Nathan Jonson, formerly Hopen & Hrdvsion. Nathan Jonson aka Hrdvsion has several killer EP on Wagon Repair, ItIsWhatItIs and Plak, remix credits for the likes of Dominik Eulberg, and Milanese to name a few. Hopen has previously released the full-length “We Are Singing For Hurrays” on the French label Arbouse, as well as numerous EP's on Mental Groove ltd, Plak or Num. Starting Teeth straddles electronic genres in a fun, enjoyable way. The album is a mixture of freeform electronica, funny mental techno and weird hip hop that sounds like the sort of well crafted electronic fun that a label like Rephlex might put out under different circumstances.
