PUNK / HARDCORE band started in1988 in Piera, Catalonia (Spain). 2 years later passed in the studio to record their first self- produced demo tape "Na Fent" . Despite a poor distribution and any promotion, the band begins to play shows and be popular in the catalan hardcore / punk scene . In 1992 they moved to Donosti (Basque Country) to record two tracks in the studio "Tsunami" to appear on the compilation " Deserción " , made and distributed by the label "Discos Suicidas" . In 1993 they recorded an split album with MISERIA Y KOMPAÑIA with the help of alternative label "Illa Records" in LP, CD and cassette format. In December 1996 the group's activity is paralyzed due to the death of their guitar and friend: Jose . The following months the band recorded their last album "Un dia más", that had already hired and soon dissolved. In 2005 SPATEK decided to meet again and to this day are doing concerts with some frequency.
