About SimonOut
SimonOut come from Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The band was founded in March 2004. The band members are: Max Mörke (Bass Guitar), Daniel Klein (Drums), Goran Camdzija (Vocals) and Nicolas Greiner (Guitar). The story behind the band started when the singer of the band, Goran, moved to Germany. After a long search for good and devoted musicians, he came across Max Mörke, the bass player, who introduced drummer Daniel Klein to the band, with whom he had already played for some time. At that time the band went through a lot of changes, musically and with personnel: hence the name, Simonout. Simon Karlson, Daniel's predecessor, had to leave the band due to his studies at a police academy in Cologne. The Band started to joke over his departure, and soon, mostly because of its originality, the band adopted the name. At the time guitar was played by Philipp Arndt. The band, with this line-up, played numerous concerts in and around Frankfurt and rose to the status of one of the biggest live attractions in the Rhein-Main area. The band won first place in the Rüsselsheim contest in 2006, signed a contract with the record company “Me Music”, recorded and published their first songs under the title “Free Things”, and took part in some local radio and TV shows the same year. During the recording of their first album, Philipp left the band. The vacant guitarist slot was filled by talented Nicolas Greiner in August 2006. The band was stronger and more complete than ever, and continued with recording and concerts. Simonout have now completed their album, "Willows Lane", which saw daylight in February 2008. The band are scheduled for many concerts and festivals in and outside Germany this year. Official web page of the band: www.simonout.com
