Secret Clubhouse is a pop-synth-punk bedroom project from the Sacramento region. Created by Matthew Crawford, who composes, sings and plays guitar and bass on recordings. Secret Clubhouse fuses varying pop, punk and rock sounds with masterful lyrics narrating a witty introspective self-deprecating spirit, snarky political commentary, and mischievous absurdist joke songs. Matthew has been writing music since his teens, and was deeply inspired by Tony Hawk’s pro-skater soundtracks. To date Secret Clubhouse has released 9 EPs.
