About Searching For Signal
Searching For Signal formed in January 2006, starting with Matt Salois, Michael Azari, and Benny Edaburn. The three recorded a catchy self-titled LP at Sugarhill Recording Studios that was released in November 2008. Shortly after their first CD release, they invited their friend, John Wilhelm to join the band on bass guitar. This 4-piece released a post-rock influenced 3-song EP titled It's So Bright in August 2009. They left for college at The University of Texas and St. Edward's University in Austin where they began exploring the new city's thriving live music scene. Their latest 5-track EP, As If Nothing's Changing, debuted in May 2011.They still continue to play shows around Houston and Austin on a regular basis.
