STVTES is an experimental post-hardcore/alternative rock band from Denton/Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Formed in 2014 STVTES are poised to transcend everything from their post-hardcore past to the confines of the new and beautiful scene. And if things get dark along the way, they have each other to fall back on. Pulling the best of the best together, singer David Judd of Aerolyn, drummer Chris Marz and guitarist Steven Perkins of Medics, and the brothers Patrik & Silas Valenzuela from Comatose, STVTES brings together their roots and grown something really special. Performing through the southern music scene, they have pushed themselves releasing troubled songs of deep reflection, mourning and hard loss. “Giving her your last breath” battles with a suicide of a loved one. While “Red Diamond” perfectly balances love and tragedy. The Living Animal Museum was released showcasing their hearts and attitude through Heavy guitar forward riffs, and almost jazz emo breakdowns. With a Sophomore EP full of explosive new music a decade later to be released in 2025.
