About Rough Beauty
Rough Beauty was a Grunge/Stoner Rock band formed in Brasília, Brazil in 2013. Its lineup consists of Arthur Gomes (Guitars/Lead Vocals), Lucas "Fish" Riecken (Guitars/Back Vocals), João Pedro "Cookie" Rinehart (Bass/Back Vocals) and Guilherme Maitelli (Drums). Rafael Chaves was the Drummer before Guilherme Maitelli, who joined the band after Rafael left. The band used to play Stoner Rock, mixing it with Grunge and with the personal influences of each member. In 2014, prior to the release of their first EP, they made an improvise album, the Rough Sessions #1, an album recorded with their own material, homemade. Their EP, which is not Rough Sessions #1, was released in 2015 and it's called Into the Mind. The EP's lyrics contains references to life's matters, feelings, living, wisdom and other things.
