"Born in Tasmania. Dan Cross is Rentboy. While Rentboy has at times been a rock band with others in it, its core is Dan, and these days Dan performs alone. He can write a good song, but what’s a good song without a sound that makes it like no other song? That’s what Rentboy does best, experimental production value-adding to classic melodies and exceptional lyrics. Rentboy is also the name of a US deejay who plays others people's records and makes a lot of mixes to share with his friends online.
