Red Sammy juxtaposes dark and gritty sounds with vibrant bursts of lyrical and harmonic splendor. Vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Adam Trice founded the Alternative/Americana band when he joined vocalist, bassist, and songwriter, Katie Feild. Both Trice and Feild blended their styles to create a resonance all their own. Their first, full-length, self-titled album recorded at Cleancuts Music in Baltimore, Maryland contains eleven picturesque songs that capture the hope in desperation, the beauty in imperfection. From the mellow ocean-tide groove of “Outside” to the raw-rocking grunge licks of “King on the Road”, Red Sammy’s songs reach the core of the listener.
