About Rünkbändet
Swedish genital rock band among other legends such as Onkel Kånkel, Vrävarna, The Kristet Utseende and Alter Egon. Based in the city of Jönköping, Rünkbändet started out around 2006 when lead guitarist and vocalist Glänn Hünk wrote a song to a friend called "Naken, Fastbunden och Utnyttjad". Soon Glänn's soul mate and moon-buddy Röffe Skünk joined forces. Röffe and Glänn invited heroic bass player and vocalist Röger Rünk in late fall of 2007 and this was what the band needed. So in the spring of 2008 thier first album "Visor i Moono" was released. Even though bands like Vrävarna, Alter Egon and Onkel Kånkel had been giving the Könsrock genre a boost lately - Rünkbändet never expected the huge popularity of their music and decided to write new songs on the spot. In december 2008 the guitarist Jöhnny Dünk and the drummer Mätz Münk joined as live members of Rünkbändet. Rünkbändet is currently recording their second album and rehearsing for some live shows in 2009. In January 2009, Mätz Münk was recruited as a permanent member of Rünkbändet.
