Peter Roth (born September 17, 1974) is an Israeli singer, guitarist, musical producer and member of the band Monica Sex (Hebrew: מוניקה סקס). Roth born in Bat-Yam in a musical family, and at age of 11 he moved to Holon. His father, Paul Roth, who was member in "Le'hakat Pikud Tzafon", taought Peter how to play the guitar from an early age. Peter was member in few bands, such as "Va'ad Ha'ba'it" (Hebrew: ועד הבית) and "Ha'ben Shel Ha'Shahen" (Hebrew: "הבן של השכן") in which Ayal Even Tzor was a member too, and through him Peter met Shahar Even Tzor. In the beginning of the 90's Peter joined to Monica Sex with Shahar Even Tzor, Yahaly Subol and Yosi Hamami. The band did many shows in Tel-Aviv area, create to itself following audience and signed a contract with Hed Artzi. In 1995 the band released the album "Ptzaim Ve'neshikot" (Hebrew: פצעים ונשיקות) which sold thousands of copy. In 1996 flew Peter together with the band to New York and after a year and 6 months of living it the US the band broke up. Peter returned to Israel and start working with artists like Eviatar Banai, Ma'or Cohen and Yahaly Subol. He was also member of the bands "Ha'zvuvim" (Hebrew: "הזבובים") and "Malcat Ha'plakat" (Hebrew: מלכת הפלקט) and began to work as producer. In 2001 Monica Sex members back to work together and recorded for 9 months the album "Yahasim Ptuhim" (Hebrew: יחסים פתוחים). At the same year Peter produced Tal Segev's album (who was member in "Va'ad Ha'bait"), "Ai Shaket" (Hebrew: אי שקט). In 2003 the band took part in Shalom Hanoch album, "Or Israeli" (Hebrew: אור ישראלי) and recorded its third album, "Hayot Mahmad" (Hebrew: חיות מחמד). Peter started to work on his first album in 2003, together with Dan Toren. In 2004 Peter did the musical arraignments and produced Arik Einstein's "Shtey Guitarot Bass Tupim" (Hebrew: שתי גיטרות בס תופים), and participated in albums for Yzhar Ashdot, Ma'or Cohen and more. In 2005 released Peter his first singer from his album, "He Aohevet" (Hebrew: היא אוהבת), in which his grandfather also took part, Laslo Roth. In June the same year Roth released his album, which called "Peter Roth", and received the Acum (Hebrew: אקו"ם) award as the discovery of the year thanks to his album. In the same year he took place in a the TV show "Mifgashir" (Hebrew: מפגשיר) in channel Music24. The show bring together two artists who never cooperate before and they create and record together a new song. Peter met in the show with the singer Ygal Bashan. Together they recorded the song "Rak Roza Le'hithaten" (Hebrew: רק רוצה להתחתן). In the beginning of 2006 released the album by Roth and Arik Einshtein, "Rega'im" (Hebrew: רגעים), in which Roth also produced. In May 18, 2007 married Roth to Netta Garty.
