About Open Folk
There are several artists with this name: 1. a Polish folk group, 2. a British Grunge band. --- 1) "Open Folk" is one of the most famous Polish folk groups. Active since 1987, it has performed several hundred concerts in Poland and abroad (France, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Russia, Belarus), several programs for radio and television, and seven albums with music based on Irish, Scottish and Breton. Their adventure with Celtic music culminated in a trip to its sources - to Brittany, where they played, among others, at the traditional Fest Noz festivals. Performing at folk festivals, early music festivals, and large rock events, they gain recognition from audiences everywhere. What has distinguished the band from the beginning is the originality and stylistically unrestrained form of their music, dynamism and perfection of performance, as well as a rich sound. They are constantly expanding their instruments, constantly looking for new emotions, and as a result, each of their materials discovers new musical spaces. Sławomir Król - publisher "Folk Time" --- 2) Three piece Alt Grunge Indie Emo band from Chester, UK: https://soundcloud.com/open-folk https://www.youtube.com/@openfolkuk https://openfolkuk.bandcamp.com/
