Norwegian alternative downtempo outfit Norsk Tiger (lit. Norwegian Tiger) made a splash in the Bergen scene in 2012, a small city otherwise known for kickstarting careers ranging from Röyksopp to Sondre Lerche. Norsk Tiger is hard to pinpoint to a genre. Clearly influenced by trip-hop and funk, the four members jams their way through downtempo hip hop, into funk and pop tunes, albeit always with a twist.
