New Neighbours was an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based indie rock band formed in 2021, featuring members Teun Blom (vocals, guitar), Warner Hoogendijk (guitar, vocals), Mika Ram (bass, vocals) and Simon Zwikker (drums). Known for their melodic, sixties-influenced indie sound, they emerged from the local scene. Their 3-track debut single, New Neighbours, came out in September 2021. A full album, Moving In, followed in January 2023. In early 2026, Blom, Hoogendijk and Zwikker re-emerged as Former Resident, a riff-heavier incarnation of New Neighbours. The rise of Former Resident effectively marks the end of New Neighbours.
