About Morte Rubra

Morte Rubra are an atmospheric black metal band founded by the vocalist Alan Joseph and the multi-instrumentalist Astratta, with the proposal to make a different loudness of the conventional black metal. The band name is inspired by the short story "The Mask of Scarlet Death" by Edgar Allan Poe. Astratta, which is in charge of instrumental part, mixing and music production, participates in several projects including Entardecer, Montosse, A.S.A.H, Le Délire des Négations, Ensimesmamento, Xaktenarh and her most recent work in Haldol. She also works in a experimental projects such as MDZhB, Synthsatan and Bleak Burial. Their debut album entitled "Fadário Dizimado" was the result of this premise of the first phase and is available digitally for free download on Morte Rubra's bandcamp platform and physically through Depressive Illusions Records in 66 limited copies. Apart from the album, they have two singles "Vidas Atormentadas" and "Persistência da Consciência".
