Michael Prins (born Giessenburg, The Netherlands, 14 December 1985) is a Dutch singer-songwriter currently based in the town of Haarlem. He is best known for winning the 2013 edition of the TV show, 'De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland' ('The Netherlands' Best Singer-Songwriter'), beating Maaike Ouboter in the final. His début album, Rivertown Fairytales, came out in October 2013.
