About Me Versus the Monster
Me Versus the Monster is a hardcore band out of Northern Virginia, near Washington, DC. The band's current line up sees Tyler Matthews (The band's primary song writer) on vocals and guitars, Adam Meinel (Often considered the band's sex appeal) on bass, and Jason Dehenzel (often considered the band's drummer) on drums. The band originally united in 2003 with original members Tyler Matthews and Adam Meinel along with a series of different drummers. The band first release was a 4 song EP entitled "Eat.Sleep.Work.Die" followed by a second EP in 2005 entitled "The Resurectionist". The band broke up in early 2007 after a final show in Washington, DC.
