About Matsuri
Punk band from sunburn city - San Jose, California. They started as a four piece, and became an incredible five piece. Their style is rooted in 90's screamo but the playing style is informed by blues and jazz. After several releases the final line up came together to write Endship, an expansive lp exploring different styles but grounded in a truly Suri sound. Flailing leads over intricate chords and meditative arpeggios, intricate, loose drumming, and extremely harsh vocals.
